Oval Platter

45cm, for the thing that comes out of the oven

A hand-built oval stoneware platter, 45cm by 28cm, with a shallow well, a slightly waved lip and two thumb indents pressed into the long edges. Glazed in Iron — dark brown-black breaking to rust over the lip and the high points of the surface — with a dry unglazed underside.
